Bring the family and join us for a night of fun and entertainment with live music from 4pm.
4.00pm - 4.45pm: Local Youth Band
The timeslot is dedicated to the best of our extremely talented local High School student bands. Many of these bands have had success in the Smokefree Rockquest, and Balloons over Waikato are proud to give them an audience to showcase their talent.
5.00pm - 5.45pm: Enigma
Engima are a five piece covers band playing hit songs from throughout the decades. Enigma have been entertaining in and around the Waikato for more than 20 years.
6.00pm - 6.45pm: The Waikato Rivertones/The Tonettes
The Tonettes are a diverse group of singers from the award winning chorus - The Waikato Rivertones. The Tonettes will be performing a wide range of musical genres from Broadway to modern pop in the barbershop and other contemporary styles.
7.00pm- 7.45pm: The SQZ
This year the SQZ return again for another stint on the main stage. With a set of classics, mixed in with some of today's hot music it will be a fun night for all ages at the balloons.
7.45pm - 8.20pm - The Glow
The main attraction! The balloons present a stunning light and sound show.
8.20pm: The Fireworks
The final fireworks finale! Waikato pyrotechnic master, Dr Martin van Tiel creates another magical display to cap off the evening's entertainment.
8.30pm - 9.00pm - The SQZ
As the end of the night nears, the SQZ will be playing some of the great anthems from the 80's, that are almost more popular today than they were then!
